60% of 8th graders in Fort Worth ISD fail science portion of TAKS exam
The results are back, and a whopping 60% of eighth graders in Fort Worth ISD failed the science portion of the state TAKS exam. That is down from a 53% passing rate last year. The state average is a 70% passing rate. But at least the problem area has been identified.
