Enlarge photo | View thumbnailsYesterday, Dallas ISD held a ceremony at Central Market HEB to award Candace Wicks, kindergarten teacher at Erasmo Seguin Community Learning Center, with the district's 'Teacher of the Year' honors. Other finalists for the award deserving honorable mention were Osley Cook Jr. of Oliver Wendell Holmes Humanities/Communications Academy, Ruth Kaiser of Obadiah Knight Elementary School, and David Lewis of Law and Law Enforcement at Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Center.
