Double murder/suicide in Carrollton

On May 21, 2007 at approximately 6:03 PM Carrollton Police were dispatched to an unknown emergency in the 1700 block of San Francisco St. in Carrollton.

On May 21, 2007 at approximately 6:03 PM Carrollton Police were dispatched to an unknown emergency in the 1700 block of San Francisco St. in Carrollton. Witnesses heard gunshots in front of 1721 San Francisco St. and saw the gunman run into the residence at 1721 San Francisco St.

Officers arrived on scene and determined that there were two shooting victims in front of 1721 San Francisco St. An adult female shooting victim was lying in the front yard and a male child victim was inside a pickup truck in front of the residence. Both victims were deceased.

The suspect was later found dead inside 1721 San Francisco St. from a self inflicted gunshot wound.

The case is currently being investigated by the Carrollton Police Department and the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s office.
