Sue Meyer named president and chief operating officer of DFW Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage
Replaces Clark Toole, who is taking over CB Florida.
DALLAS Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage – Dallas/Fort Worth (CBDFW), one of the largest residential brokerages in the Southwest, has announced the promotion of Sue Meyer to President and Chief Operating Officer. In this role she will oversee the company’s 19 locations and 1,200 sales associates and staff – a leading real estate company in the D/FW Metroplex and in Texas. Its parent company NRT Incorporated, is the nation’s largest real estate brokerage operating in 35 major metropolitan markets.
“Sue’s extensive experience as a manager and regional vice president will be invaluable in her new role as president of Coldwell Banker D/FW,” said Judy Reeves, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for NRT. “Her dedication to the professional development of local leadership, combined with her ability to refine the business practices in the area offices will be instrumental to the continued growth and success of the company.”
With this announcement, Clark Toole, former President of Coldwell Banker D/FW, will become President and Chief Operating Officer of NRT’s Coldwell Banker operations in Florida. Together with Meyer, Toole brought the Dallas/Fort Worth company to a new level of excellence from the time he joined the organization in 2003.
Meyer propelled Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage – Dallas/Fort Worth in her former role as Senior Vice President and Regional Manager. She supervised the 16 county market area while empowering managers and sales professionals alike with her exceptional leadership and vision. Meyer helped the company grow exponentially by tapping into new skill development initiatives, market areas, marketing, new technology and services for customers.
“Coldwell Banker D/FW is on the forefront of where real estate is heading,” Meyer said. “I am honored to take the helm of this company and continue to make this organization the preferred gateway for exceptional real estate experiences.”
She is committed to the market growth of the brokerage through expanding its footprint in the D/FW area. “There are 500 people moving to Dallas/Fort Worth every day and with no natural land barriers,
the opportunity for growth is unlimited,” she said. “The financial and business climate in North Texas is among the most favorable in the country, and we will continue to grow our company in this market.”
She notes Coldwell Banker’s favorable absorption rate as compared to the market as one of the reasons sellers work with Coldwell Banker sales professionals. “When we sell our inventory more efficiently, our customers’ interests are better served,” she said.
Meyer first entered real estate in 1985 when she joined Coldwell Banker’s Glen Ellen, Illinois office. She relocated to Florida in 1987 where she managed numerous offices. As manager of the Siesta Key office in the Sarasota region, she helped drive the operation to become number one in Southeast Florida. Her same dedication drove the Dallas/Fort Worth company to the top echelon in real estate.
“Sue’s exemplary leadership skills have been proven over the last few years,” said Reeves. “I am confident that her business acumen and strategic vision will successfully guide our operations to extraordinary new levels for real estate buyers and sellers.”
