Alan Cohen, says:
Scott has just done an absolutely incredible job covering this legislative session. I'm certainly grateful for all the work he has put into both coverage and advancing the dialogue.

Sanders Kaufman, says:
Alan and Scott - I like what you guys are trying doing here but no, Scott didn't do a good job covering this session.
There were some WILD scenes that played out with both Dems and GOPers trying to force Craddick to step down.
It climaxed when 41 D's and R's walked out of the session last night in protest.
There was some serious, high-drama - and Pegasus missed it.

Alan Cohen, says:
Scott's focus was criminal justice legislation. And he did a terrific job.
There will always be both state and local news that we miss. Not intentionally, but its just a matter of picking out shots while resources are low. But thats why we also encourage our readers to chip in and help out when they believe that certain events or issues are being under-reported or under-discussed.
Otherwise, we'll just keep doing our best.

I'll give it up for Grits. This one guy posts three or four stories a day. Journalists at the major media rarely equal that output in a week.
I prefer reporting on legislation more than reporting on political maneuvering amongst idiots.
