Harland Clarke closing Dallas plant, laying off 110 employees

DALLAS According to a story in the Dallas Business Journal, it appears check-processing giant Harland Clarke will close its plant in Dallas, resulting in 110 employees losing their jobs.
The move comes on the heels of the $1.7 billion purchase of John H. Harland Co. and Clarke American by M & F Worldwide on May 1st.

This is only one of many more casualties of banks moving further into ACH. Airlines will be feeling this too, soon, very soon.
