Keller ISD’s Central High sends off its second graduating class
As one final test of their aptitude, Central High graduates had to harness the power of the school mascot, which is lightning, with their bare hands. No word on how many student were successful.
Despite graduating only its second class of seniors thus far, Central High School saw an astonishing 542 walk the stage on Monday. Of the Keller ISD schools, Central finished just more than 100 graduates shy of KHS' figure but over 100 more than Fossil Ridge and neighboring Northwest High School.
Of the graduates, 92% plan to attend college in the Fall.
Valedictorian, Bruce Li, will attend the University of Texas in the Fall to study business, while Salutatorian, Matthew Cho, will pursue a major in biology at Rice University.
