Ron Washington got the better of his old team Tuesday, as the Rangers blanked the A's 4-0. Led by starting pitcher Mike Wood's five shutout innings, the Rangers were able to snap their six-game losing streak.

All of the Rangers offense came in a 4-run sixth, when Sammy "The Bull" Sosa drove in three runs with a single and an error, followed with a run scored when Marlon Byrd singled him in.
