Hanes Wins Geography Bee; Townley finishes second
The world-dominating kiddos.
The Geography Bee Team from Hanes Elementary School won the district competition held recently at MacArthur, while Townley Elementary School earned second place.
This year’s competition included 15 elementary schools, with each team composed of fourth and/or fifth graders. Winners received special medals and a world atlas.
