New Interview: Sarah Jaffe
Sarah Jaffe is a name you are no doubt hearing more and more lately, and if not, just wait. Wise within and beyond her 21 years, Sarah writes songs that express universal messages, which transcend genres, age groups, and the like. Devoid of complicated instrumentation, what you are left with in her music is the passion in her voice, stirring lyrics, and haunting guitar pieces strewn admidst. With a record coming shortly to showcase her talent, and new management guiding and pushing things along, Sarah's no doubt on her way to success as one of the next intelligent voices to come out of Dallas.
Some of the topics covered in this interview include:
- How it feels now that people are recognizing her talent
- Her experiences in LA and the differences she noticed in its music scene and Dallas' in nurturing new talent
- What's age got to do with it?
- The upcoming record, tentatively titled Even Born Again
- Why music is her path in life
Sarah has a whole host of shows coming up in June and July, including a performance at Club Dada this Sunday with Goldenboy, Chris McFarland, and Doug Burr. Be sure to check a show out and see for yourself what people are starting to talk about.

Bill Holston, says:
There's not another performer in Dallas that I like more than Sarah Jaffe. Huge integrity in her music, very thoughtful intelligent lyrics and a great person. I hope there is a crowd for this show with Doug Burr, who is the other person in this city that can quiet a room, to listen to every word they sing.
