Texas Christian University (TCU) 37, New Mexico 0
FORT WORTH The TCU Horned Frogs came out and dominated from the get-go Saturday night, having an easy time of it in a 37-0 shellacking of New Mexico. The win moved TCU to 5-4 on the year, and dropped the Lobos to 6-3, ending New Mexico's three-game winning streak.
TCU quarterback Andy Dalton had a good game, going 11-for-18 for 149 yards and two touchdowns, but the primary reason for TCU's lopsided victory was the offensive and defensive lines. Offensively, the Horned Frogs ran for 238 yards on 60 carries, controlling the clock for 36 minutes and keeping the Lobos' offense off the field.
When New Mexico did get the ball, they didn't fare any better: the Lobos ran for an abysmal 28 yards on 26 carries, 91 total passing yards and 75 yards in penalties.
