Poet Andrew Feld to read, sign books and answer questions at UNT
This Texas Visiting Writer Series event is scheduled for Nov. 27.
Poet Andrew Feld - who holds an MFA in poetry from that hotbed of degreed poets, the University of Houston - will read from his work at the University of North Texas on Tuesday, Nov. 27. The event is part of the University of North Texas Visiting Writer Series and is presented by the Department of English.
Mr. Feld's book Citizen was a 2003 selection of the National Poetry Series. In addition to the reading he will hang around to sign books, which works out great for him because to get a book signed you actually need to have purchased one. (Pretty clever, these poets.)
Oddly, the Q/A session with poet Feld will take place before the actual reading and at a different venue: 4 p.m. in the Auditorium Building, Room 212. The reading itself will take place at 8 p.m. in the Golden Eagle Suite of the University Union.
