"Our 3eTI business is helping to improve homeland security, while developing technology that enables the Navy to better utilize its resources for shipboard communications," said Michael E. Jalbert, chairman and chief executive officer of EFJ, Inc. "These new contracts reflect the Navy's confidence in our ability to deliver sound, reliable wireless solutions."

3eTI has more than ten years of experience in providing specialized wireless solutions for the U.S. Navy. Several examples of contracts completed for the U.S. Navy in the past include developing a secure wireless sensor network to monitor the performance of shipboard equipment, critical area protection via video surveillance and chemical detection for Naval bases, and developing vessel boarding inspection systems to help protect U.S. waters from threats posed by foreign ships carrying cargo to the United States ports.
