Lancaster approves $37.5M in municipal bonds

Monies will pay for transportation and safety improvements, among other things.

— The funds will pay for "permanent public improvements, to-wit: planning, designing, constructing, reconstructing, improving, extending and expanding streets, thoroughfares, freeways, alleys, sidewalks, bridges, pedestrainways, trolleyways and other multi-modal transportation facilities, including related storm drainage facilities and improvements, signalization, signage, video roadside cameras, and other traffic and signal controls, street lighting, landscaping, streetscape and median improvements, the acquisition of land therefore, and the levy of taxes to provide for the payment thereof and interest thereon” -- whew!
