DALLAS Michael Webb of Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP and Keith Wewe of Content Pilot, LLC, each have been elected to the Board of Directors of the Legal Marketing Association’s Southeastern Chapter. Mr. Webb was re-elected to the position of Membership Chair and Mr. Wewe was re-elected as Secretary. Both will be serving their second consecutive one-year terms.

Members include both in-house marketing directors and marketing consultants. The group includes nearly 3,000 members in 16 local chapters across the globe.
Formed in 1997, the Southeastern Chapter is now LMA’s largest individual chapter in the country, serving more than 400 members in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. The Legal Marketing Association is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving the needs and maintaining the professional standards of the men and women involved in marketing within the legal profession.
“The Southeastern Chapter is a very dynamic group,” says Mr. Webb, who has served as the Membership Chair of the LMA’s Southeast Chapter since 2006. “There are tremendous professional benefits for members because you are networked to hundreds of very talented people who understand your working atmosphere and are always available to offer support or a fresh outlook on what you are doing.”
Mr. Webb is the Director of Marketing and Business Development at Gardere Wynne Sewell, where he leads a team of 10 legal marketing professionals, and directs the marketing, advertising, public relations and business development efforts for the AmLaw 200 law firm and its nearly 300 attorneys. Mr. Webb was named Director in 2004 after working for three years as the firm’s Communications Manager. He regularly works with the firm’s Diversity Committee and Disaster Recovery Planning Task Force, and serves as an ex-officio member of Gardere’s Business Development Committee.
Mr. Wewe is the Director of Client Service and Growth at Content Pilot, a leading provider of technology solutions for law firm marketers. He helps clients develop and implement Web sites, proposal centers, branding and identity projects. Prior to joining Content Pilot, Mr. Wewe worked for more than a decade as an in-house marketing professional at three large law firms. He has earned various LMA leadership positions, including serving as the LMA Southeast Chapter Secretary since 2006. He previously served as Chair of LMA’s Dallas City Group and Member of LMA’s National Education Committee.
