— Rail improvements in downtown Dallas will be affecting rail service during Thanksgiving week, from Wednesday, November 21 through Sunday, November 25. Commuters are advised to add 30 minutes to their schedules.

From approximately 4 a.m. on Wednesday, November 21, to just past midnight on Sunday, November 25, northbound and southbound train service between Mockingbird and West End stations will be replaced with bus shuttles. Trains are scheduled to resume regular service on Monday, November 26.

Southbound Red Line and Blue Line trains will stop at Mockingbird Station. Northbound Red Line and Blue Line trains will stop at West End Station. There will be no rail service between the following stations: Mockingbird, Cityplace, Pearl, St. Paul, Akard and West End.

On Wednesday, November 21, shuttle buses will operate approximately every 5 minutes during rush hours and every 10 minutes during non-rush hours. Shuttles will operate approximately every 10 minutes all day from Thursday, November 22, through Sunday, November 25.

Local bus shuttles will circulate between Mockingbird and West End stations for passengers who have destinations at Cityplace, Pearl, St. Paul, or Akard stations.

• Buses departing Mockingbird Station will display a WEST END SHUTTLE – ALL STATIONS RAIL SHUTTLE destination sign.

• Buses departing West End Station will display a MOCKINGBIRD SHUTTLE – ALL STATIONS RAIL SHUTTLE destination sign.

Nonstop bus shuttles will provide service to Mockingbird and West End stations for passengers who wish to continue Red Line or Blue Line rail services northbound (to Mockingbird) or southbound (to West End).

• Buses departing Mockingbird Station will display a WEST END STATION – NONSTOP RAIL SHUTTLE destination sign.

• Buses departing West End Station will display a MOCKINGBIRD STATION – NONSTOP RAIL SHUTTLE destination sign.
