In an effort to clean up the view coming into Kennedale on Interstate 20, the city has waged a war of sorts against the slew of sexually oriented businesses that line the main road. In a recent proposed settlement with Log Cabin Videos, the business would be forced to close at the end of 2010. While settlements with other businesses allow them to remain open 14 months longer than Log Cabin, the cozy-named purveyor of graphic videos will be allowed to stay open later than the other establishments; their curfew would be 1 a.m. as opposed to midnight. The deal is not yet set because the city made a few recent changes, but they believe Log Cabin will comply.
