Police chase ends in truck crashing into house at Ripplewood and Bretshire
WHITE ROCK HILLS Last night was another case of "helicopters over the house again." There were five swarming close overhead, circling and training their spotlights down on the creekbed behind our house.
I checked the snazzy new DPD reporting system and couldn't find anything as late as last night. This morning, there was report of a truck crashed into a house.
More detail came from a municipality-probing PegNews reader via email this morning:
Hi Mike,
There was sort of a big hoopla last night on Ripplewood involving a truck crashing into a house.
I can only find it here so far. Video: "Police Chase Ends when truck crahses into House".
Sorta of a cool story. My neighbor chased one of them with the cops.
It seems that the chase started in Mesquite and ended with this truck crashing into one of our neighbor's homes. One of the suspects was apprehended, and another (white male) is still at large.

Another case? How often do the police look for criminals behind your house, Mike? I'm having second thoughts about December, now.

As opposed to Pavel, I welcome the opportunity to run down a criminal in your neighborhood Mike. I mean, if the cops have no issue with me trying to chase one down, I might consider running sprints a few times a week in preparation.
I'll even consider keeping a firearm <a href="http://www.pegasusnews.com/news/2007/sep/09/new-texas-law-allows-us-carry-all-kinds-weapons-ou/">well hidden</a> in my car in case there's a fire-fight!

I do believe this would be the first time the Doyle would be the one doing the chasing in a police pursuit.
