Dallas Baptist volleyball places two on all-conference teams
Junior Lauren Secord from White Oak, Texas, has been named to the Heartland Conference First Team All-Conference team for her play during the 2007 season. Sophomore Vickie Mundell from Arlington, Texas, joined her on the team by being named to the Second Team.
Secord for the season led the Lady Patriots in kills, hitting percentage, and blocks. Secord finished the season by averaging 4.19 kills, 1.87 blocks, and compiled a .251 hitting percentage per game.
Mundell was a huge part to Secord's success after she led the team in assists for the second straight year. Mundell averaged an astounding 10.43 assists, 1.08 kills, and 1.95 digs per game.
Head Coach Cathy Ray said, "Without the presence of Lauren and Vickie this year we would not have had the success we had. They are both leaders on our team and I look forward to seeing them continue to grow together."
