Owner of Grand Tastings wine bar in Uptown Dallas in hospital after heart attack
DALLAS Sommelier Don Burney, who co-owns Grand Tastings along with his sommelier wife Terri, is in the hospital after suffering a recent series of heart attacks.
An employee at the McKinney Avenue wine store/tasting room said that events scheduled at the store would go on, and that Terri asked customers to keep Burney in their prayers.
The store just hosted a weekend-long blowout of events celebrating its third anniversary.
