Dallas pharmacy raided by DEA agents

Raid was part of a long investigation by several agencies, including DEA and Dallas Police Department.

(Apologies in advance to Erin)

Customer: Gee, I'm glad I came to Melrose Pharmacy at 2506 Oak Lawn Avenue in Dallas Wednesday afternoon to get my prescription. They're such an upstanding business.

DEA agents: Attention! We are coming in with guns drawn to raid your pharmacy because they have been either filling bogus prescriptions or filling prescriptions improperly -- we won't say which.

Customer: "It's a little uncomforting" seeing you raid my neighborhood drug store in such a manner and take away multiple cases of drugs, but "you can't really assume the worse."

Owner: We will not be able to compound your prescriptions -- that is, mix individual medicines into what you need -- today, but we will open up tomorrow if this doesn't freak you out too much.

CBS 11's Clif Caldwell: Watch my report on said raid below.
