TCU 31, UNLV 10
FORT WORTH The TCU Horned Frogs stormed out of the gate to a big lead Saturday, before cruising en route to a 34-10 victory in Fort Worth. TCU got out to a commanding 28-0 lead before UNLV ever saw the endzone, after which it seemed both teams were on cruise control until the end of the game.
The offensive lines were the real difference in this game, as TCU outrushed the Rebels 251 to 12. TCU quarterbacks Andy Dalton and Marcus Jackson only had to throw a combined 23 times, although Dalton did run the ball 10 times for 73 yards and two touchdowns.
Joseph Turner and Aaron Brown also ran for touchdowns for the Horned Frogs, who improved to 6-5 on the year, five games ahead of any other North Texas team.
