Euless’ Trinity High School principal retires

0

Andy Cargile, principal at Trinity High School, has announced his retirement effective December 22, 2007. Mr. Cargile has been the principal of Trinity since 1998. Before assuming the principalship he served as an assistant principal at Trinity.

The sweet life.

The sweet life.

Mr. Cargile’s career began in HEB ISD in 1971, commencing in 1975. He served seven years in Dallas ISD, followed by two years in Grand Prairie ISD, before returning to HEB ISD in 1984. Mr. Cargile was recently selected to receive the Bayard Friedman Hero Award by Score a Goal In The Classroom, an area non-profit organization that supports public education.

A successful, 37 year career in education cannot be summarized in several paragraphs. It is measured by the positive influence on thousands of students and colleagues through the years. We wish Mr. Cargile the best in his retirement.

Since Mr. Cargile is leaving mid-year, the administration will appoint an interim principal to serve while the district seeks a new principal for Trinity High School.
