French restaurant to open on Lovers Lane in Dallas in December

— A French restaurant with a complicated name will open in December on Lovers Lane in Dallas, says Nancy N. at D Magazine:

Rise n°1, a 92-seat "salon de soufflé" and wine bar in Inwood Village. Set to open in early December, the menu will feature French onion soup, salad nicoise, and soufflés, including savory varieties like ham and Gruyere, spinach and goat cheese. There will also be a wide selection of sweet ones like chocolate, raspberry, caramel, and apricot. It’s all authentically French except for the prices—entrees range from $4 to $14.

The restaurant is from Hedda Gioia Dowd, owner of Antique Harvest, an online retail site that sells Frenchy stuff like linens and "chateau silver"; Mark Maguire, owner of Maguire’s restaurant in Dallas; and Maguire's chef Cherif Brahmi.

"Authentically French?" I must have missed all those salons de soufflé when I've been in France. With a name like that, though, maybe they will have some co-branding opportunities with Cialis or Viagra.

Is 'Rise n°1' a word-play on "92-seat salon de soufflé" or did Nancy forget to noodle that part out of them?

Is it "authentically French" because Mark Maguire continually flouts Dallas anti-smoking laws at his restaurant, and with this place he will simply blame same on cheese-eating surrender monkeys?

Ma Grand-mère morte from Britangne is asking.
