Margaux’s presents: Art From the Heart, a four person show to benefit the Schottish Rite Children’s Hospital
Four Dallas artists and designers are putting their considerable talents to work for a good holiday cause with a show and sale benefiting Scottish Rite Children's hospital.
Textile designer Brooke Rydman, metal sculptor Larry Whiteley, and jewelry designers Caroline Blankenbeckler and Amanda Sterett are hosting a collaborative show Wednesday, December 5, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Margaux's, 150 Turtle Creek Blvd. The event will offer a festive backdrop for exploring the latest from each artist while getting a jump on holiday shopping and enjoying light bites, wine, and music by classical guitarist Lito White.
The four young artists have gotten to know one another by sharing similar paths on the fashion and art scene. Their work can be found locally in top boutiques such as Forty Five Ten and Elements and at retail meccas such as Bloomingdales in NewYork, which just hosted Ms. Rydman in a trunk show for her fall line of richly-textured, hand-woven chenille scarves.
