Dallas makes a strong showing in Snapshots of America, a 39-image photo essay in the November 26 issue of Time magazine -- part of the cover story, called "One Day in America."
Photographer Erin Trieb, a 2000 graduate of Highland Park High School, contributes six images of Americana from Dallas, including a DeSoto mother getting her three children to school, a Highland Park football game, and a night at Adair's Saloon in Deep Ellum.

She's also a graduate of A&M University at Commerce for photography (great photo department) and spent a year or so in Israel. She's an amazing selfless person.
