The Horned Frogs were excellent at disguising their coverages Saturday night

The TCU Horned Frogs came from 17 points down in the first quarter to put up nearly 700 yards of total offense Saturday night, putting up an impressive show of offensive execution in a 45-33 win over San Diego State. TCU gained 694 yards on 111 plays, and held the ball for nearly 40 minutes, clearly defining the term "leaving it all on the field" in this, their season finale. The Horned Frogs finished the season at 7-5, 4-4 in the conference.

TCU quarterback Andy Dalton led the way for the Horned Frogs, going 23-for-39 for 298 yards, with no touchdowns or interceptions. But the real story was the rushing offense, which dominated San Diego at the point of attack all night, keeping the Horned Frogs defense fresh and mounting the comeback.

TCU ran 69 times for 376 yards and six touchdowns, and had stellar performances all around. Joseph Turner was the star of the show, running 33 times for 226 yards and four touchdowns. Dalton added 9 rushes for 60 yards and another touchdown.
