UPDATED: Infant Plano child falls inside home from second to first level; mother charged
PLANO On Nov. 28 at approximately 8:45 a.m., Plano Police officers responded to an injured child call in the 4500 block of Cape Charles Drive.
Upon officers arrival, it was determined that an infant had fallen inside the home from the second to the first level. The child has been taken to a local area hospital and is in stable condition at this time.
The mother of the child, Padmaja Sivaray Enjeti, a 37-year-old Asian female, has been taken into custody at the Plano City Jail and charged with injury to a child.
The investigation is ongoing.
UPDATE: On Dec. 4, the charge was changed to attempted capital murder and the bond remains at $1 million.
