As part of the deal, Behringer got to keep whatever they found in the icebox

— According to a story in the Dallas Business Journal, it appears Addison-based real estate moguls Behringer Harvard has made their first-ever real estate purchase in the United Kingdom. The acquisition is Becket House, 46,000 square feet of office space in central London.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. While the building itself was built in 1958, the land itself has been owned since the 14th century by The Worshipful Company of Mercers, originally a British trade guild for exporters of wool and importers of velvet, silk and other luxurious fabrics.
