DALLAS Flowserve Corporation, the Dallas-based global provider of fluid motion and control products and services, announced today it has broken ground on its newest Quick Response Center (QRC) located within the Jebel Ali Free Zone in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
This new location will serve as the regional headquarters for Flowserve’s mechanical seal business in the Middle East and will also have a full range of pump repair and packaging capabilities. It will also complement Flowserve’s existing joint ventures in Saudi Arabia and other existing service capabilities within the region. On a global front, the new Flowserve QRC will be an addition to Flowserve’s growing network of aftermarket service centers and is planned to open in the fourth quarter of 2008.
“Establishing the Dubai QRC demonstrates our commitment to our customers in the Middle East region to provide exceptional, locally delivered customer service,” said Andrew Beall, president, Flow Solutions Division. “Our goal for our customers is to meet their needs for reduced life cycle costs, increased equipment life and maximized reliability.”
Flowserve's Quick Response Centers are maintenance, repair and manufacturing facilities strategically located throughout the world to provide our customers with local support to help improve reliability of their rotating equipment.
