— DART is holding a public hearing on Tuesday December 11 at 6:30 p.m. regarding its proposal to relocate the Lake Highlands Station, part of the Northeast (blue) line serving the Lake Highlands community. The move would be approximately 500 feet north of Walnut Hill. The hearing for comments fulfills Federal, State, and Local requirements regarding Service Plan Amendments.

Also on the table at the public hearing will be a "UNT" station location at Houston School Road and Interstate 20 in South Oak Cliff, part of the Blue Line extension toward the southern boundary of the DART system to serve the planned University of North Texas (UNT) campus.

Citizens are invited to attend and make their comments a part of the official record of the Service Plan Amendments. Anyone who wishes to speak at the public hearing should call DART Board Support at 214-749-3371. Comments can also be submitted via email to Community Affairs at tcantu@dart.org.

The hearing will be at DART Headquarters Board Room, 1401 Pacific Ave. (Akard Station). For more information, contact DART Community Affairs at 214-749-2543 or visit the Web site.
