UPDATED: Dallas City Hall corruption investigation indicts 14 people

— Federal authorities named 14 defendants in its indictment alleging bribery and extortion at Dallas City Hall. The 14 include former Mayor Pro Tem Don Hill, state Rep. Terri Hodge, D-Dallas, real-estate developer Brian Potashnik, former city planning commissioner D'Angelo Lee, Mr. Hill's wife Sheila Farrington, Cheryl Potashnik, Darren Reagan, Allen McGill, Jibreel Rashad, Rickey Robertson, Andrea Spencer, Ronald Slovacek, Kevin Dean, and John Lewis.

They're charged with fishy dealings on housing developments that were funded by the government.

Former City Council member James Fantroy was named in a separate indictment, accusing him of embezzling $50,000 from Paul Quinn College in Dallas.

UPDATE: Incited developer Brian Potashnik paid his father Jack more than half a million dollars in consulting fees which were never reported for tax purposes. Friday the senior Potashnik pleaded guilty to tax evasion.
