UPDATED: Fort Worth police searching for missing woman
Fort Worth police are searching for 51-year-old Glenda Furch after family members reported that she had not been heard from in several days. Furch's gold Mazda Millenia was not found at her home, and upon searching her apartment, police say that they found evidence that further raised suspicions and concern for the woman’s safety and well-being. According to detectives, the woman was last seen just after midnight on Friday, September 28, 2007, when she clocked out and left her job at the General Motors Plant in Arlington, Texas.
Furch is African-American, 5' 3", medium-heavy build, and has shoulder length Auburn hair with twisted braids. Anyone with information about Furch or her vehicle is asked to contact Fort Worth Police (817) 335-392-4370 or local law enforcement.
UPDATE: Furch's car was found badly burned Thursday afternoon at an abandoned car wash. Police also said that the search of Furch's apartment turned up blood and signs of struggle.
