Gap hires former Dallasite Todd Oldham as design director for Old Navy
He's previously done collections for Target.
The Gap has hired interior designer/TV personality/ former Dallasite Todd Oldham as design creative director of its Old Navy discount chain. He begins October 1. Oh wait -- that's today! Wow. He's probably having First-Day Jitters as we speak. It must've been hard for him to decide what to wear. It's hard to know at the beginning whether you should go suit-and-tie, or Business Casual, or show your "stylish" side. Especially in a job like his, where your reputation for being creative with clothes is at stake. Do you suppose he brought his lunch in? When you go to a new office, you never know whether there's a good canteen nearby where you can grab a sandwich.
