0

The Drama Program at Tarrant County College Southeast Campus has just released the two shows they will be performing this fall. Both shows are directed by John Dement and take place in the Roberson Theatre on campus. Tickets can be reserved by calling the box office at 817-515-3799:

  • The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams, from October 11-13 & 18-20. The play is set in St. Louis, Missouri, United States, during the Great Depression and deals with the troubled relationship between an aging mother, Amanda Wingfield, and her painfully shy daughter Laura Wingfield, as told by the son and brother, Tom Wingfield, who is supposedly relating events from memory.
  • The Sheep Thief from November 28 - December 1. A young boy gets caught stealing a sheep and is shaved of all his hair and branded with a mark on his forehead so that everyone will know that he is a thief and not to be trusted. Dumped in the desert, the thief covers his marking with a headscarf and goes to the nearest village where he is taken in by a trusting family in return for his work. However, has be actually changed or is he still the same thief at heart?
