The Dallas Theatre League has just announced the 2007 Leon Rabin nominations, which look at all of the theater productions offered this last year. The winners will not be announced until November 13, 2007 at the Patty Granville Arts Center in Garland. Just fyi, The Dallas Theater Center, Undermain Theatre, Teatro Dallas, Lyric Stage, and Theatre Three do not take part in this:

It absolutely galls me that the Rabin committee claims to be committed to seeing all shows by its members, when I know for a FACT that they don't. If they did, there would be another nomination on this list, for Mark-Brian Sonna's production of The Soul Gatherer, from April of 2007.
"Rabinaters", as they are fondly referred to, rarely if ever attend a show by this amazing and wholly different director/producer. Wake up, folks! Cross the lawn and check out the shows at the Stone Cottage! You obviously know where it is, due to the number of WaterTower nominations. You won't be sorry.
Additionally, congrats to Mark Mullino for his nomination!
