Dillard’s closing at Southwest Center Mall
As I predicted in June of 2006, Dillard's has made it official by closing their store at Southwest Center Mall aka Red Bird Mall.
District 8 Dallas City Councilman Tennell Atkins is rightfully upset and concerned about the quality of the mall and the storeowners' broken promises. Also, nearby small business owners are concerned by the potential drop-off in customer traffic due to the store's closing.
Despite assurances when purchased by the same owners of the raggedy Six Flags at Arlington Mall, Southwest Center Mall has continued to go downhill.

What's the cure for SWC Mall? Has the city completed a study of the market potential of SWC? How does an investor make money on that mall?
