Last seen Sept. 24, 19-year-old John Anthony Davis left home at about 3:40 p.m. in his mother's cream-colored 2002 Subaru Outback and has not been seen or heard from since.

While Duncanville police say foul play is not suspected in his disappearance, the vehicle Davis was last seen driving was recovered by the Briscoe County Sheriff's Department - a day after Davis' disappearance - abandoned in a rural area of Briscoe County, 90 miles southeast of Amarillo.

Davis is an African-American male, described as 6-1, 180 lbs. He was last seen wearing older style eyeglasses, a casual shirt of an unknown color, blue jeans and unknown colored leather shoes. He has no known medical or mental impairments.

Davis' left from his home in the apartment townhomes at the corner of Wheatland and Cockrell Hill roads and was reported missing by his mother.

Duncanville Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating Davis.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts or disappearance is asked to call the department's Criminal Investigation Division at 972-780-5037, ext. 6.
