Fort Worth 11-year-old girl fabricates story of man grabbing her
FORT WORTH According to a story in the Star-Telegram, an 11-year-old Chisholm Trail Intermediate School girl admitted to making up a story about a stranger grabbing her.
Fort Worth police said that the student told them on Sept. 25 that a man grabbed her, and she screamed and kicked him until he let her go.
The next day, Keller school district sent home warning letters to parents of students at Chisholm Trail and 15 other nearby schools.
Fort Worth police took precautions.
The girl is not being charged with making a false police report and due to privacy laws, it is not known whether or not the school will administer punishment.
