Two Arlington pharmacies hit by smash and grab bandits
Not to be missed is on-scene reporter Beth Wagner's laconic delivery in the video attaced to this report of a pair of smash and grabs carried out overnight (Oct. 9) at two Arlington pharmacies.
One Walgreens and one CVS were targeted by the equal opportunity vehicle-weilding bandits who drove into the locations' front doors and then loaded up the ATMs from inside before driving off.
It will be interesting to see whether a) the surveillance cameras at the two locations are positioned to do some good, and b) whether the theives were smart enough to obscure the license plates of their vehicle(s).
Given the close proximity in time of the occurrence of the two thefts, the possibility exists that they were carried out by the same crooks.
