Doug Burr’s On Promenade out now
Doug Burr's latest album, On Promenade, was released on October 9th in a show played with the Great Lake Swimmers and Aurthur & Yu. The CD was co-released by Spune Productions and Velvet Blue Music. Fans can find On Promenade for download at iTunes, Napster, and CD Baby, in addition to the producers' websites. You can also preview two songs from the record, "Slow Southern Home" and "Should've Known" on Burr's MySpace player and download a free MP3 of "In the Garden" here. Or, you know, look to your right.

That is one fine album. Doug Burr has got to be one of the finest artists I've ever heard. He put on a heck of a show at the Cavern this week. He's also one heck of a humble guy. If you've never been out to hear him, you should. Very finely crafted songs.
