Grand Prairie to vote on Prime Outlets center

What impact will the new outlet center have on Grand Prairie's current businesses?
GRAND PRAIRIE — According to this story in the Dallas Business Journal, it appears the City of Grand Prairie will be voting on whether or not to allow the construction of a Prime Outlets center at the intersection of I-20 and 360. The vote will be held Tuesday.
If the vote passes, Grand Prairie dwellers can expect a massive outlet shopping center by the 2009 holiday season, according to the report.
