UPDATED: One shot, one killed in separate early-morning shootings in Arlington
The names of both victims have not been released at this time.
Two separate shooting incidents in the early hours of Friday, October 12th in Arlington have left one man dead and one woman injured.
At 3:30 a.m., a 31-year-old man (name unavailable) was shot and killed during an incident with three other men at the Los Lomas apartment complex on 834 Timberlake Drive.
Later on around 5:00 a.m., a woman was shot several times at the Landmark Terrace Apartment complex on 408 N Fielder Road.
UPDATE: Arlington police are reporting that they have discovered that the shooting of Reginald Taylor at the Los Lomas apartment complex likely stemmed from a drug deal, although Taylor was most likely not involved in that activity. Police have also released a photo of the grill of the suspects' truck, which was taken by a security camera at a convenience store where the suspects and Taylor and his friends first encountered each other.
