UPDATED with video: Fort Worth triple-murder suspect shoots self in head, drives into Lake Arlington
A Fort Worth man suspected of shooting his estranged wife and her two children led the police on a high-speed chase Friday night, then shot himself in the head and drove into Lake Arlington. CBS 11 has helicopter-captured footage of the car sinking into the lake.
A standoff had dragged on all afternoon, with the suspect parked in a driveway in an Arlington neighborhood which police evacuated while trying to negotiate with him.
Police had been called to the couple's home at least twice since last month.
