Interview with Gordon K. Smith

Gordon K. Smith visits Pegnews World Headquarters: 10/15/07

As noted several days back, the Dallas Producers Association will be putting on its 3rd annual tongue-in-cheek film nostalgia event (featuring movies made in and around the metroplex in the '70s and '80s) this Thursday, Oct. 18, at the Studio Movie Grill in Addison. Dubbed "Bride of It Came From Dallas" - as opposed to "THE Bride of It Came From Dallas" (DPA co-founder Bob Dauber was very explicit on this point... among others) - the light-hearted fund-raising whing ding shapes up to be one of those not-to-be-missed evenings of entertainment that folks will be flashing back to when their brief candles sputter their last. (O.K., maybe I'm exaggerating a bit...)

Interview with Bob Dauber

Bob Dauber visits PegNews World Headquarters: 10/15/07

To either help promote the event or just because they had nothing better to do (you be the judge), organizers Bob Dauber and local film archivist Gordon K. Smith - Moviola in hand - dropped by the luxurious Pegasus News offices this Monday (Oct. 15) to answer a few questions regarding the patched-together spawn of evil-dead reanimated greatness that is (or will be) "Bride of It Came From Dallas."

Enjoy the videos - if you dare.
