Dallas school track coach arrested on drug possession
Roy Martin allegedly bought Xanax from a student, but says he did so to fight drug problem at school.
Being a good Samaritan can now get you arrested.
Roy Martin, a former Olympian who is now the track coach at Florence Middle School, was arrested Tuesday night for drug possession. Dallas police are reporting that Martin attempted "an unauthorized drug sting," purchasing Xanax from a student and then turning the drug over the school's principal.
In other news, the police cited me for jaywalking after I helped an old lady across the street.
