Latino residents in Arlington recipients of “citizenship” scam letters
Latino residents in a few Arlington apartment complexes have been the recipients of a fear-mongering scam.
Official-looking letters from a non-existent organization, the "Immigration Citizenship Enforcement" agency—were sent to residents in the Las Lomas as well as the Park Row apartmetnts, demanding they send $95 to a Dallas post office box or else federal immigration agents would pay them a visit.
Residents are advised to contact government offices to report the letters.
Meanwhile, the Las Lomas apartments made the news last week when a man was shot and killed outside one.
