GRAPEVINE As part of its annual Halloween British Car and Motorcycle Show on Saturday, British Emporium, the Grapevine shop that specializes in British products, is hosting a "Haunted Tea." Presided over by the "Undead Butler," the tea will take place from 12 noon to 4 p.m. in the Haunted Tea Room inside the store and will be plagued by strange teacup-rattling noises and a menu that includes bug buns, squashed fly biscuits, eyeball pie, toad in the hole, and bubble & squeak. Imported British candy bars will be handed out to everyone who survives the visit.
New additions to the store's larder of British snacks include:
Made entirely of cooked milk, kulfi flavors include mango, chocolate, strawberry, coconut, pistachio almond, and more.
- Kaurina's Kulfi -- Indian ice cream bars
- Boxed chocolate assortments including Roses, Quality Street, Flake, and Milk Tray
- Mint chutney
- Australian-style frozen "mojo pies" in steak, steak & cheese, and chicken & vegetable
