Reata to take over operations at Backstage Club at Fort Worth Stock and Rodeo Show
FORT WORTH The Reata Restaurant Group has taken over operations of The Backstage Club at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.
The Backstage Club is a private club at the rodeo that overlooks the arena for the Will Rogers Coliseum. Attendees can buy a membership that starts in January and lasts the duration of the Stock Show (which this year runs from January 11 to February 3), including access to a full bar and dining. It was previously handled by Coburn’s Catering Service Inc., which has handled (and will continue to handle) all concessions at the Stock Show since 1946.
The Reata restaurant group already has an in-residence spinoff of its Sundance Square restaurant Reata at the annual Stock Show called Reata at the Rodeo, whose success was observed by Stock Show executives. But the menu for the Backstage Club will be different. It will also undergo extensive renovations, supervised by movie art director Carla Curry (Friday Night Lights, The Alamo) who has helped decorate the Reata restaurants, with murals painted by local artist Stylle Read.
