Accused Denton teacher jailed again for witness tampering
DENTON — Lauren Cosgrove, a teacher at Strickland Middle School in Denton who has already been accused of having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old student, was arrested again Wednesday after police say she tried to contact the boy to tell him what to say in court. That alleged incident happened soon after Cosgrove's initial arrest in July, but the family didn't report the attempted coercion until Cosgrove made other attempts to contact the boy in recent weeks.
